2. Purposes and scope of data processing when using the app
2.1 General
As a general rule, personal data such as name, email address or date of birth are not requested when using our app. Only the required authorisations are requested for communication between the bite away® connect app and the bite away® pro. Data is only stored locally on the respective end device and is limited to saving a favourite treatment program if you use this function.
2.2 Contact
If you contact us, we will only use your personal data (name, email address, message text) to get in touch with you. Data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We only use your data to process your request and they will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. As a rule, this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter has been resolved.
3. Basic information pursuant to Art. 13/14 GDPR
3.1 What data protection rights exist?
Every data subject has the right to information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, the right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR and the right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, insofar as this does not conflict with any legal requirements (in particular pursuant to Art. 15 and 17 of the GDPR and Sec. 34 and 35 of the BDSG).
If relevant, you can object to receiving advertising material (advertising objection).
To exercise your rights, it is sufficient to send a letter by post to the above address or by email to Datenschutz.mibeTec@dermapharm.com.
If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data is not lawful, you can lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with § 19 BDSG [German Federal Data Protection Act]).
3.2 Data transfer to third parties
As a matter of principle, we do not pass on your data to third parties unless you have consented to this.
3.3 Will your data be transferred to third parties or to an international organisation?
Data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union (socalled third countries) does not take place.
3.4 To what extent does automated decision-making or profiling take place?
As a matter of principle, we do not use fully automated decisionmaking or profiling pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR. Should we use these procedures in individual cases, we will inform you of this separately, insofar as this is required by law.
